The Story of Our Firefly
There’s a little piece of magic woven into our very first gathering…
Before the big stages, before everything grew into what it is now, it was just us, the land, a small building with tapestries and something really special.
As the sun went down that first year, the fields didn’t go dark, they lit up.
Fireflies everywhere. Drifting through the grass like tiny glowing lanterns. It honestly felt like the land was celebrating with us.
That’s when the firefly became our thing.
Not just a moment but a feeling. A spark. A symbol of what we were creating together.
Now that we gather in August, we don’t see them as much… but they’ve never left us.
They’re still part of the heart of this festival.
This year, we’re taking it back
Honouring where it all began
Carrying that same spark forward
