There are currently wildfires burning across our province. Both the province and our municipality have taken precautions to prevent the spread of wildfires.

At Bring Your Love we will also be doing our part to continue having a safe event, but focussing on fire prevention this year.

RM of Armstrong has a burn ban in effect - this is posted on their website as of July 21, 2025:

Bring Your Love’s ability to have fires is governed by the RM of Armstrong and the Province. This could change at any time. We are currently working on plans based on the current order, but are prepared if there are any changes.

Rogue fire pits will not be tolerated and could lead to being removed from the festival for endangering other attendees and the community.

What else can you do to help prevent the spread of fires?

  1. Use portable ashtrays, or designated ashing stations. Do not throw butts on the ground.

  2. Do not leave flammable items unattended - watch your propane stoves while you are using them.

  3. Ensure all your equipment is in good working condition before bringing it to the event.

  4. ATV’s will not be allowed into the event by attendees. This does not include security and organizers who require them during the event.

  5. Fire toys will be strictly prohibited unless approved before the event by Bring Your Love with advice from the Municipality.

Be prepared for no fires. Bring warm clothes as the nights are cool. Plan your meals ahead of time.
