Bring Your Love is a creative, friendly (and family friendly), well attended event with an ever GROWING amount of guests and crew who not only love to dance but to see the art that the gallery has to offer each and every year. The intention of Bring Your Love’s Psychedelic gallery is to create a space in which artists from various backgrounds and visual disciplines can come together and display and network in a place of like-minded creatives.
The guests at Bring Your Love have been very receptive to the art gallery and making purchases with art they connect with over the weekend that the gallery is in operation. Artists have had much success selling prints, stickers, cards, ect… of course originals also fly off the walls as well !
Submission Guidelines:
From emerging to professional, all visual artists are welcome to apply to Bring Your Love’s Psychedelic Gallery. We are a growing and ever changing gallery space, specializing in 2D artworks hung salon-style. If you are a Performing Artist, please refer to the respective forms. This Gallery application includes a submission of information about yourself, including brief contact info as well as a short but sweet bio that features a description of your artistic style, uploading images of your art and social media links.
Approved artists are expected to be in attendance of the festival with exhibiting artworks, as well each artist responsible for the sales and pricing of their artwork. All sales go to the artist as you are able to sell (if you so choose) during the whole duration of the Bring Your Love Festival experience. We have gallery staff/volunteers present to assist in the sales and safety of the art.
BYL Psychedelic Art Gallery is a team effort, and we love having enthusiastic creative artists participate by interacting with clients, live painting, going to dance and enjoying all the festival has to offer and helping to make the magic of Bring Your Love manifest in a beautiful way by displaying their art.
Fees: There is a gallery entry fee that covers one's festival ticket and right to sell in the gallery over the festival weekend.
Insurance: It is up to each artist to insure their own work how they see fit. The Gallery is open from 10am until 1am on each show day, and we do our absolute best to secure and care for the artwork, but we do not cover costs of art that is stolen or damaged.
Art Transport: Each artist is responsible for the transportation of their artwork into and out of Bring Your Love Festival of Arts.
Volunteering: There are a VERY limited number of gallery volunteer passes available; expectations include helping out with pre-show set up and/ or post-event take down, art sales, art safety and being a collaborative part of the curator's vision.
